Village museum

There is a beautiful museum village to walk through in Sóstó.

It shows that the city is loyal to it’s history and cherishes traditions. The museum is a link between the past and the present in architecture and gastronomy.

There are more than 80 houses from North-East Hungary in the 7.5 hectare park. Most of the buildings are original, they were brought here from their original location in their original state. This is the biggest open air museum of Hungary, which is open to visitors from April to October with lots of programs to families and those who are interested.
